Windows Install Instructions
If Windows defender blocks the installation, follow these instructions:
Mac OS Install Instructions
Download the file and navigate to the downloads folder. Find and double click the installer. If a window appears with an arrow, drag the icon into the Applications folder icon. After a few seconds you should see the Mint Takeoff App in your Applications list.
Linux Install Instructions
Troubleshooting:If the app doesn't open after installing, run this in terminal:
sudo chown root:root /opt/MintTakeoff/chrome-sandbox && sudo chmod 4755 /opt/MintTakeoff/chrome-sandboxThen try opening again.
Requirements
Windows
Minimum*: Windows 10, Core i3 and 8GB RAM
Recommended: Windows 11 Core i5/i7 with dedicated GPU and 8GB+ RAM.
MAC
Minimum: MacOS 12 with M1 processor and 8GB RAM
Recommended: MacOS 12+ with M2 or newer processor and 8GB RAM
Linux
Distro: Ubuntu 20.04+ / Debian 11+ (or any Debian-based distro) 64-bit (x86_64)
Minimum: Integrated Graphics Adapter with 4GB RAM
Recommended: Dedicated GPU with 8GB RAM
A mouse with middle click / scroll wheel is required.
*Mint Takeoff takes advantage of Direct3d, Metal and OpenGL to provide a smooth work experience. A computer without a dedicated GPU may run the app slower.
*If you are experiencing slow performance, navigate to the Settings menu in the app and make changes to adapt to your hardware limitations.
